Yes, But…

Daily Reading: Isaiah 45 vs. 140
“I will go before you, Cyrus, and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness – secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name” vs. 2&3l

Welcome to this amazing month of remembrance. Rejoice for this is the month your file shall be brought out from the archives and given attention. Maybe you are tired and have this feeling of rejection, rejoice for you shall be remembered this month. How many times have you laid awake worrying and trying to get out of an assignment? Have you ever told the Lord; “Yes, l’ll do it, but how are You going to provide the funds?” or “Yes, but these people will oppose me.” or “Yes, but I’ve never done this before.”

Also one could say; “I’ve tried to make ends meet but I have no means” or “How do I cope with my children’s fees. My rent is almost due. My job is at the verge of being terminated. There is confusion here and there. Relax only believe you will see the salvation of the Lord.

Believe that God created the heavens and the earth. When He calls us to do some specific jobs or believe His word, believe that He’ll take care of the obstacles and challenges. Unfortunately, some children of God are double-minded. They know that God made the universe, named all the stars and does all good things, yet they find it hard to think of Him as the God who goes before them to move mountains, break down walls and remove
obstacles from their path. But believe me, He does! This month He who holds the solution to all your problems will remember you. If you are fretting over “insurmountable” problems that are in your way, He is assuring you: “I will go before; you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.

I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I…am the God of Israel” (Isaiah 45 vs. 2-3. NKJV). What “gates of bronze” do you need broken down this month of remembrance? What bars of iron do you need cut? Whatever they are, remember they are not impossible for Him. Eliminate your Yes, but” and rejoice this month for He is leading you forward in triumph!

Prayer: My dear Heavenly Father, I praise You that nothing can stand in the way of Your will being accomplished! All power Is In Your hands, and I know You are going before me. Father, in this month of remembrance, I will follow You in complete confidence and trust knowing nothing is too difficult for You in Jesus’ name, Amen. Further Reading: Job 2
