This means in a current state. It means refreshed, reinvigorated, reformed. This is a new month of remembrance where God is set to do new things in the lives of His people. Where he would renew everything that had been lost in the previous months during the pandemic. In the book of Joel 2:25, God was telling the people of Israel that He will restore the years that the locust, the cankerworm, the caterpillar and the palmerworm had eaten.
Indeed this year, the palmerworm ate deep into people’s lives, economy, family during these past months of the pandemic, but the Lord is doing a new thing in our lives. There are newness and freshness in the lives of everyone who would trust him to bring to pass.
Therefore, all you need to do is to trust him; this is because only those who trust him will see it come to pass. This is the reason King Solomon wrote in the book of Proverbs, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…”. He says to us to trust Him. There are many people who had given up already thinking that all hope is lost because of the challenges they faced during the pandemic and feeling that there is nothing that can be done since the year is almost gone.
But God is saying in this new month, that we should trust Him for a new beginning, freshness and renewal.
Happy new month dearly beloved! It’s our month of September to Remember!
