Often times people do not understand that there is a sound called a joyful noise. This is why the Bible admonishes us to make a joyful noise (Psalm 100:1). A joyful noise is that sound that springs up from the wellness of joy in spirit. And by this, God requires that we be joyful and remain joyful.
In the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1, the bible says that there is time for everything in life. In the life of men geographically speaking, there is time for everything, rainy season, dry season, winter etc. This is why now is the season of joy.
When something gets to its season and it is not happening, it means there is a problem or challenge somewhere or better still; it is not producing fruit. In this season of joy, every disappointment, every negative thing is swallowed up in joy. And because this is a season of joy, it flows effortlessly.
Your being angry or quarrelling will not empty tomorrow of its problems, it will rather empty today of its joy.
Therefore, you should always be happy, whether in lack or in plenty. Being joyous causes other people around you to be joyous. It creates an ambience of calmness and peace.
Because we are in the season of joy, allow frustrations to be swallowed up by joy. Anger, depression, frustration dries the bone (Proverbs 17:22). Jesus is the reason for the season. It is not every sickness that requires medication.
Oftentimes, try being joyful; do anything you can to remain joyous. Even if you have not seen your desired result, remain joyful. It displaces every failure.
When you are joyful, your heart will not entertain anything contrary. You need to know that there are disappointments that are blessings in disguise.
Therefore, we should not let anything to kill or steal our joy. Just like Paul and Silas, in spite of their predicament and challenges that faced them, they never gave up. Even Paul had to write a letter from the prison to the brethren, to always rejoice and be happy.
Therefore, let nothing, puncture your heart of joy.
