Praise is like an engine of a car that moves. In a car, when the engine is not working optimally, it produces smoke and the car may stop moving. In the same vein, praise serves as an engine and when there is no praise, there is friction.
When you praise, it affects you as a man, it affects the devil and it also affects God. When you are praising God, you are energized and also you are uplifted. It drives away sorrow, anger and bitterness. When you praise God, you create a good ambience around you. When you begin to praise God, the devil gets angry because that was his former position before he was driven away from heaven. If you don’t praise and glorify God, you are not meeting up with his needs. However, when you praise God, you move Him into action; you provoke God through your praise, worship and thanksgiving. 2 Chronicles 1:7, Deuteronomy 28:2. EACH TIME YOU PRAISE God, you are affecting the enemy; it pains him and he tries to bring up guilt to stop you from praising God. Praises yield a lot of fruits for the believer, but it takes time for the manifestations to happen. You do not relent in praising God.
Praise is a lifestyle, whether good or bad, this is why we are not controlled by our feelings. It is not controlled by the happenstance of surrounding circumstances. This is therefore why we should praise God anyhow and anywhere for who He is, what He is, without looking for anything in return. To access God, you go in with praise, for without praises your prayers are weakened.
